Homes for Health
The Movement for Housing & Health justice: Join Homes for Health

Homes should be a place of comfort, health and security. Instead, across the UK, homes have become sites of illness. The ‘Homes for Health’ campaign brings together a movement of health workers from across the UK united in a shared vision to reclaim our homes for people and the planet.

The so-called ‘housing crisis’ is no accident. It is a symptom of a political system that produces mass illness, accelerates climate breakdown and deepens inequalities in both health and wealth. The root causes are political – and that means the solutions are too.

By building power locally and pushing for change nationally, we’ve seen how health workers can become a powerful force for justice.

Join us today in the movement for housing and health justice.

How we organise

We are organising around the country and you are welcome to join us. We are operating as a network of distinct local and national working groups. But we come together as a network bimonthly to share updates, build strategy and support each other’s work.

Currently there are our national economic justice and climate and health working groups and local groups in: Brighton, Bristol, London, Glasgow and Sheffield. Please get in touch and we can connect you with existing campaigns or support you to start your own.

Sign up to our email list today to find out more and stay up to date with the campaign.
