Rhianna Louise came to Medact as a Quaker Peaceworker, and has led work to establish the Health Through Peace movement following the conference in November 2015. Her academic background is in linguistics, transitional justice, postcolonial theory and trauma studies. Rhianna has an active interest in conflict transformation and peacebuilding having previously worked on research and the MENA programme at Responding to Conflict (RTC), and having undertaking training in mediation, diplomacy, and systemic conflict analysis. At Medact she works on issues related to militarisation, the international arms trade and the refugee crisis; and supports the growing movement for peace in the health community.
