Join Musicians for Peace & Disarmament on Zoom for their not-to-be-missed online folk concert, Frankie Armstrong and Friends, devised and organised by MPD Patron, Frankie Armstrong, who, as ever, has assembled a star-studded cast.
This event is part of Healing Justice Ldn’s ‘Rehearsing Freedoms’ festival. In this workshop led by Medact’s Research Manager Hil Aked, participants will rehearse the liberatory potential – and limitations – of using freedom of information requests to empower ourselves with knowledge.
Part of “Rehearsing Freedoms”, this workshop will encourage us to think, feel, draw, write and play through these questions, building with all that has come before and inviting in new offerings. The space will be held facilitated by Dr Stephanie Davis, Kavian Kulasabanathan and Ben Eder.
MPD’s next Concert for Peace will be a chamber concert of French music by Les Six, in Lauderdale House, Highgate, London N6 5HG on Thursday 9 May, 7:30pm. The programme is presented by MPD Patron, the distinguished pianist Julian Jacobson, and five wind player colleagues.
