New RSG Member Marjorie Bahhaj, a retired nurse and midwife, writes about attending her first Medact Refugee Solidarity Group meeting.
Marjorie and a group of 17 enthusiastic healthcare professionals, students and activists met on Tuesday 25 July at Medact offices in London to discuss general strategy/direction of the group as well as specific projects and campaigns. Future projects include: volunteer first aid trips to Northern France and the Right to Healthcare educational programme.
