Medact Leeds is a new Medact local group working on the Health for a Green New Deal campaign
Join us at our next reading group event where we will explore and critique a short paper examining categorisations used to refer to minority groups, alongside the roots and potential limitations of these terms.
In line with our group vision we see this reading group as a space where we can unlearn and challenge internalised racism, expand our anti-racist skills, encourage curiosity and openness, and to reflect on bringing this learning into our working and campaigning lives.
Our rescheduled big meeting for everyone interested in being involved in the Medact Research Network will now take place on Tuesday 11th May.
Six past winners of the Holdstock-Piachaud Student Essay Prize reflect upon why they submitted to the Prize, what they wrote about, what they enjoyed about it & what they gained from the process.
Our 2020 Annual Report provides an overview of our work and direction in the last year, including how this has pivoted in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
