Jane Grose is a post-doctoral research fellow with the Health and Sustainability Group in the Faculty of Health and Human Sciences Plymouth University. Her current research develops education for nurses and other health staff focussing on the creating a resilient health service at a time of increasing extreme weather events. This work aims to explore how the potential loss of some basic raw materials will affect service delivery and patient experience. Working with three other European countries project (www.NurSus.eu) we are developing a range of teaching materials to raise awareness amongst health care professionals.
Jane has over 40 years experience of working both nationally and internationally on issues ranging from sustainable healthcare, neurological long-term conditions, community development, HIV/AIDS, sexual and reproductive health and health planning and management.
