Emma recently graduated with a BSc in Politics and International Relations from the University of Bristol, where she launched a charity to support refugee children with English as an additional language in local schools, and became interested in raising awareness about global health inequities through her research.
After volunteering to help organise Medact’s 2016 conference on climate change and health, Emma joined our team to project manage our upcoming conference – Health Through Peace 2017 – which is taking place at the University of York in September, and will focus on Medact’s work in peace and security.
Emma is also the Director of Communications in Medsin’s National Committee, and works in editorial at a think-tank researching armed conflict and human security.
