Medact Liverpool launched their inaugural public lecture series with a talk on 23rd February from Prof. David Nutt on alcohol and drug policy. The evening was a great success, with over 400 attending!
Looking to the future, they are collaborating with Fossil Free Merseyside, Medsin and the Young Greens as well as a local homeless charity to work on collaborative projects involving both professionals and the student body. They are holding a committee meeting at the end of March and welcome interest from anyone who would like to help them develop a diverse range of projects.
