Radical Approaches to Harm in Healthcare

Cradle Community are leading a workshop for organisers in the Patients not Passports community to explore radical approaches to harm and violence in our communities, through a transformative justice lens. It will take place at Sheffield City of Sanctuary.

The aims of the session will be to:

• Discuss what violence and harm look like in your communities
• Unpack the basic principles of Transformative Justice and community accountability
• Explore the differences between Punishment and Consequences 
• Imagine what practices of community accountability and transformative justice could look like in your communities

Cradle is an abolitionist collective made up of people radicalised by our shared experiences of gender and racial marginalisation. We are committed to building towards our collective liberation by experimenting with transformative justice approaches to conflict, harm and accountability.
