Lancet Countdown: Panel discussion

On the 13th of March, the Lancet Countdown will be hosting a panel discussion in London, bringing together a range of global tracking initiatives to discuss how they can work together, track progress on the Paris agreement, and ultimately hold governments to account. 

Speakers at this panel debate will include: 

• Professor Anthony Costello, Department of Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health at the World Health Organization 
• Professor Peng Gong, Director of the Centre for Earth System Science at Tsinghua Centre
• Dr Rishma Maini, Senior Disaster Risk Reduction Public Health Registrar in Global Public Health at Public Health England 
• Dr Joy Shumake-Guillemot, Head of Joint WHO-WMO Office on Climate and Health
