Don’t Bank on The Bomb! UK – National Network Meeting June 2025

Tuesday 3rd June @ 6:30 pm 8:00 pm

Don't Bank on the Bomb! UK - National Network Meeting, Tuesday 3nd June

At Don’t Bank on the Bomb UK, we are building a nationwide movement to pressure banks and financial institutions to withdraw their support for the nuclear weapons industry, by demanding they move their money away from companies that manufacture and trade in weapons of mass destruction. Join our second network meeting on Tuesday 3rd June 2025 to hear about the incredible organising that has happened on nuclear divestment and campaign developments.

If you have any questions about the campaign or this event, get in touch with Zahraa, our DBOTB Project Coordinator: [email protected].

In a world ablaze with escalating conflicts, global instability, and worsening humanitarian crises, the threat of nuclear weapons to human life is mounting. And yet, every year, billions of pounds flow through UK banks, pension funds, and other financial institutions that invest in companies producing nuclear weapons, making the threat of nuclear war even more real.

At Don’t Bank on the Bomb UK, we are building a nationwide movement to pressure banks and financial institutions to withdraw their support for the nuclear weapons industry, by demanding they move their money away from companies that manufacture and trade in weapons of mass destruction.

Whether you’re an experienced activist or just learning about the issue, Don’t Bank on the Bomb UK is the perfect place to join others committed to building a safer, nuclear-free world.

Join our third network meeting on Tuesday 3rd June 2025 as we spotlight how campaigns across movements are using divestment to drive change, and how we can support each other in our calls for accountability. We are excited to be joined by guest speakers from the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Demilitarise Education and Green Future Wealth Management, who will share their experiences of campaigning for ethical finance and institutional accountability.
