The risks of Palantir in the NHS; Monday 16th March at 7pm

Leading human rights groups, health organisations and trade unions, will publish a major new briefing examining the threat that US spy-tech company Palantir poses to the NHS and data privacy in the UK.

The online launch will outline the report’s key findings and explore what they mean for the growing and urgent campaign to remove Palantir from the NHS. We’ll be joined by speakers including whistleblowers from Palantir and the NHS outlining how we can resist Palantir’s encroachment into the NHS and the UK as a whole.

Speakers:

  • Juan Sebastian Pinto, Palantir whistleblower
  • Hajira Maryam, Amnesty International’s Media Manager for Technology and Human Rights Programme
  • Duncan McCann, Good Law Project’s Head of Tech and Data
  • Wayne Farah, former NHS non-executive director and BME Leadership Network facilitator at the NHS Confederation, who resigned over Palantir
  • Health Workers for a Free Palestine

With Palantir’s power and influence facing increasing media scrutiny, this represents a pivotal moment to intensify pressure and push for their controversial NHS contract to be cancelled.

This event is especially valuable for health workers, but it’s open to everyone – so please share widely!
