Medact scholarship for two week intensive in Norway course on peace and health

Medact is offering a scholarship for up to five health students and young health professionals to take part in two-week Master’s level course entitled “War, violence, peace and health”  at the University of Bergen, Norway, April 2015. Transport and accommodation are fully covered.

The course consists of five online Medical Peace Work courses (www.medicalpeacework.org), representing a workload of one week, completed in advance, and one week of face-to-face teaching (20th-24th April 2015) with lectures, discussions and case-based group work. http://www.uib.no/en/course/INTH340

Up to five Medact scholarships are available to medical, nursing and public health interested students, or recent graduates, with UK or European passports and a bachelor’s degree or three years of medical/nursing training.   The scholarship includes a course waiver and 525 euros to cover travel and accommodation. Scholarship recipients are expected to complete the course and pass the exam.
