Trans Health Justice – Resources

Learning for Action resources; What can I do as a health worker to support trans communities?

As health workers, we have the power to make a real difference for trans communities. Educating ourselves on bridging prescriptions, supporting DIY harm reduction, and creating resources for trans-led care are all crucial steps in providing life-saving support.

Trans healthcare isn’t complicated – it’s about understanding, advocacy, and de-mystifying the care process.

Educate yourself about bridging prescriptions

One of the most impactful things you can do for trans patients in the current climate is help provide hormones – including DIY harm reduction.

Helping people get safe access to hormones – especially when the average wait for a gender clinic is projected at 25 years – is life-saving care.

Help change the narrative by de-mystifying trans healthcare and sharing what you know

Caring for trans people isn’t rocket science – don’t let the headlines tell you otherwise!

We’re in the middle of a global anti-trans moral panic – and it’s impacting many health workers’ confidence providing care for trans people. Your voice makes a difference.
