STOP THE BOMBS
TO MEDICAL WORKERS AROUND THE WORLD:
The field hospital that I established and direct in Syria has been hit by bombing and airstrikes 17 times. As trusted members of the medical community we need you to take our plea to leaders around the world. Speak out and break the silence by adding your name to our call:
Members of the UN Security Council: You have passed three resolutions (2118, 2139, and 2209) banning the use of chemical weapons and barrel bombs. Yet still they continue to rain down on patients and the medical workers saving them. Syrians will not be protected by your words but only by your actions. Please enforce your own resolutions. We call on the international community to stop the aerial attacks – with a no-fly zone if necessary – to protect Syrian civilians and medical workers.
Dr. Mohamed Tennari
Director of field hospital in Sarmin, Idlib, Syria
