Lorraine Haye

Lorraine Haye is a Clinical Psychologist within the NHS working in the speciality of long term health conditions. Her experiences of living and working in some of the most deprived communities across the country has fuelled her interest in human rights and health equity, both nationally and globally due to seeing directly how an individual’s prognosis is heavily mediated by political, social, economic and environmental factors. Accordingly, she has also been involved with a range of local and international community projects and social enterprises and has been an avid volunteer in a range of charities for over 20 years. In her spare time she enjoys visiting national parks, water sports, making failed attempts at gardening and buying books that she never finds time to read.
