Adi Vyas

Adi Vyas is a public health doctor from Australia with a strong interest in global health, sustainable development, and medical education. He has a diverse medical background, having worked in various roles across different health systems, from clinical work to regional- and state-level roles. He has worked internationally for the WHO, most recently as strategic planning officer in Sierra Leone during the Ebola response. Focusing on health system strengthening, Adi helped bring together national Ministry of Health staff, United Nations agencies, non-government organisations, and development partners for post-Ebola recovery. Adi currently combines his global health experience with a passion for teaching in his role as Lecturer in Public Health at Norwich Medical School. He represents Medact in the Medical Peace Work network, and is a co-author of case studies exploring climate change and health.
