Arms & Militarisation Group

Health workers in scrubs protesting at the Excel Centre in London, with banners including 'Do no harm, Don't sell arms' and '70+ health centres destroyed in Yemen'

The Medact Arms and Militarism Group develops projects that advocate for the protection of the health and well-being of people living in conditions of war and armed conflict, to promote conflict prevention, justice and peace and to raise awareness of and campaign against the UK’s role in the global arms trade.

They are a group of people working and interested in health living across the UK, who meet monthly online to develop research and advocacy projects. Currently, they are focusing on raising awareness of and campaigning on the issue of Attacks on Healthcare.
