Right to Care Training – Southampton General Hospital

Refugee Solidarity Group members Dr Rachael Marsh and Ilaf Moslawy are delivering a teaching session covering barriers to accessing healthcare in the UK and entitlement to NHS primary and secondary healthcare.

The training created by Doctors of the World UK is open to anyone who is interested but is particularly targeted at healthcare professionals.

There is a focus on refugees and asylum seekers but the principles apply to all vulnerable groups. This is particularly important now following charges that were introduced on the 23rd October.

The training is free of charge. Please click here to register.

*Dr Rachael Marsh is a Public Health registrar in Wessex with an interest in Global Health and health inequities.
