Air Pollution and Health in Bristol and Beyond: Awareness, Education and Action

Air Pollution is the largest environmental risk to public health in the UK.

Exposure to small particles and gases from fossil-fuel derived air pollution contributes to diseases such as cancer, stroke, heart disease, asthma and to around 40,000 early deaths each year in the UK alone.

Join us for an evening about Air Pollution in Bristol with guest speakers from Environmental Protection UK, Friends of The Earth, Bristol Clean Air Alliance and others.

7pm on Thursday 21st February, Main Lecture Theatre, St Michaels Hospital, Bristol, BS2 8EG

  • The effects of air pollution on our health
