DESCRIPTION:An interactive one-day course for public health and other health professionals and trainees to develop leadership skills for environmental sustainability within and outside the health and care sector. Drawing on real-life examples\, the course will explore how health professionals can work with partners to incorporate environmental sustainability into public health programmes\, healthcare facilities management and clinical care pathways. DESCRIPTION:Musicians for Peace and Disarmament’s next concert is this Thursday 11 October\, 7:30pm\, at St Philip’s Church\, Earl’s Court Road\, London\, W8 6QH. \nLouise Alder ‘the brightest lyric soprano of the younger generation’ (The Arts Desk) and renowned accompanist Roger Vignoles will perform songs by Schumann\, Fauré\, Bizet\, Liszt\, Strauss and Britten. \nNicole Treanor from the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF UK) will speak in the interval. \nTickets are £15 (£10 conc.) and can be purchased online or with cash on the door\nAll proceeds from MPD concerts go to support organisations in the peace movement\, including Medact!
