DESCRIPTION:We’re welcoming new members to our Refugee Solidarity Group. Join our next meeting on Wednesday 7th June at 7pm at the Medact office – The Grayston Centre\, 28 Charles Square London N1 6HT.  Please contact Feryal Awan\, if you would like to attend.  \nThe agenda for the evening includes: \n\nUpcoming volunteer trip to Calais\nDoctors of the World ‘Stop Sharing’ campaign (Medact is supporting Doctor of the World’s campaign to stop the Home Office from accessing migrant patients’ personal information) \nOrganising the next ‘Right to Healthcare’ training (designed to train health professionals to help migrants access healthcare)\nSharing plans and actions for the upcoming months\n\nThe Refugee Solidarity Group develops projects to defend access to health care rights for refugees and migrants\, and inform civil society about existing rights and barriers to accessing healthcare. It is a friendly group of healthcare professionals and students\, welcoming new members to participate as much as time allows. Activities fall under three main domains: Advocacy\, Education and Action. \nThe Refugee Solidarity Group is part of a wider movement the Health Through Peace Movement.
