Medact's 2018 Annual General Meeting will be held in Glasgow on the afternoon of 21st September. The AGM will be followed by a dinner and speaker event organised with Medact Glasgow and Medact Scotland. This will be a fantastic opportunity for Medact members and supporters from all around the UK to swap ideas and get to know each other. 2019 is a pivotal year for the Treaty to Prohibit Nuclear Weapons (TPNW). This Treaty was agreed by the UN in July 2017 and so far has been signed by 69 states and ratified by 19. The British government must be encouraged to sign the Treaty, and in November 2018, the City of Manchester endorsed the Treaty.
