Get in touch with James if you have any questions! – jameskinner@medact.org \n\n\n\nYou can still sign up to our All Member Assembly (our revamped AGM) the evening before on Friday 3rd October\, we’d love to see you there! \n\n\n\nJoin us in October for the 2025 Medact National Gathering – a two-day event packed with inspiring sessions. Hear from voices across the Medact movement and the incredible people and organisations we organise alongside.  \n\n\n\nThe gathering will take place in-person at Pelican House\, 144 Cambridge Health Road\, Bethnal Green\, London. We’ll be providing lunch and breakfast on both days\, and dinner on Saturday.  \n\n\n\nWe are inviting London-based attendees to host those joining from other areas. If you are in need of accommodation – or able to offer a place to stay – you can let us know via the registration form below. \n\n\n\nSaturday 4th October | 10am – 6pm\, followed by a social til late \n\n\n\n\nTargeting corporate actors and ending institutional complicity – with Health Workers for a Free Palestine and Don’t Bank on the Bomb \n\n\n\nSolidarity in the face of sickness: how our care is part of liberation struggles – a session on building radical autonomous sites of care\n\n\n\nDisability Justice  – how we can learn from and build alongside disability rights organisers \n\n\n\nHow do we build a radical movement for health justice? – Medact’s role as a political home \n\n\n\nWe came here to win – How to design successful campaign strategies \n\n\n\nResearch for action – an introduction to the new Medact Research Network handbook \n\n\n\nImagination as a tool for health justice – creative writing workshop\n\n\n\nPlenty of time to connect with folks from across Medact’s groups and campaigns \n\n\n\n\nSaturday Evening Social!  \n\n\n\n\nStay after the sessions for a BBQ dinner as we take over the Pelican House event space \n\n\n\nWe’ll welcome Raised Voices Choir for a short performance after dinner\, followed by music and (optional) dancing.\n\n\n\n\nSunday 5th October | 10:30 am – around 4pm \n\n\n\n\nResisting and responding to the rise in the far right and state fascism – with Patients Not Passports \n\n\n\nResearch for housing and health justice & developing our DNA – with Homes for Health \n\n\n\nmore tbc! \n\n\n\n\nTickets are free!If you are able to donate\, your support helps ensure we can make the event accessible to more people and enables us to keep organising events like this.
