DESCRIPTION:Since 2018\, the Brighton group has been creating a space in the city for health workers and friends to come together\, to learn from each other\, support each other\, and to fight together for the human right to health for all. \n\n\n\nOur campaigning has shifted over the years\, from homelessness\, to migrant healthcare access\, to climate and health. \n\n\n\nCurrently\, we are focusing on housing as part of the Homes for Health movement. Brighton has the second mouldiest housing stock in the UK and is plagued by high rents and exploitative landlords\, so we plan to work with local tenants’ organisations to push for affordable\, secure and safe housing for all. \n\n\n\nWe meet monthly\, hybrid-ly (in person and online).
