16 CPD Points – Attend Health Through Peace

We’re very excited to announce that the Royal College of Physicians has confirmed that 16 CPD points will be accredited to attendees of Health Through Peace.

The conference will provide an opportunity for healthcare practitioners to hear from global public health figures, leading academic researchers, and key members of civil society about conflict, violence and public health. Delegates will contribute to, debate, and scrutinise new field research by academics, and learn about the wider role that NHS professionals can play in civil society.

This conference aims to train delegates in the ways that health can be promoted through peace and humanitarian work, by exploring a range of topics, including the refugee crisis and climate change, and their impact on health.

Hear from speakers such as Dr Ira Helfand (co-founder of Physicians for Social Responsibility) and François Bouchet-Saulnier (Legal Director of MSF) discuss ‘Can Drugs Make the NHS Work?’, ‘Medical Peace Work: Teaching and Practising Health Through Peace’ and ‘Training for NHS health professionals on the rights and entitlements to health care of migrants.’

Register before Friday 25 August to secure your place!
