Maternity Access and Advocacy Pack: Implementing Policy
The Maternity Access and Advocacy Pack is a picture-based resource which aims to improve access to maternity services. It is designed for use by community organisations prior to contact with health workers and is intended to reach pregnant women and influential individuals within communities, both male and female. It was developed in close partnership with user groups from diverse ethnic communities. This paper outlines how the Pack aligns with national policy frameworks.

Train-the-trainer workshops on the Maternity Access and Advocacy Pack
Medact is running train-the-trainer workshops on the Maternity Access and Advocacy Pack. These will be available for commissioning from May 20 onwards. These will cover maternal health inequalities, the development of the Maternity Access and Advocacy Pack and how to use the Pack, including local strategies.
Workshop dates and locations will be confirmed in coming weeks.
