Medact and the Nuclear Information Service release Atoms for Peace report at UCL.
The report uncovered university links to the UK’s nuclear weapons programme. The reports findings and the ethics of military research were discussed by a panel of experts including Sir Jonathon Porritt (Forum for the Future and Prince of Wales’s Business & Sustainability Programme), Professor Andy Blowers (Open University) and Dr Christopher Watson (British Pugwash Group) and Medact’s Dr David McCoy.
