People, Politics and Global Health: Actions to change the Approach

This course will take an interactive, participatory approach to issues of globalisation, social determinants, health systems and the political economy of health. Its purpose is to enable participants to become informed and effective activists for change in global health, prepared to take forward action.

Applications will be considered from post- graduate public health students and academics, and those studying for intercalated degrees in global health. Applications will also be welcomed from those who work within the health sector, or NGO sector on issues related to health and development.

The course is full-time and non-residential.

The course fee is £90 for students and individuals, £500 for NGO staff (to subsidise participation from students.)
